OA Reminder: On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, Owego Apalachin residents will head to the polls to vote on the Proposed 2023-2024 School Budget, School Bus Purchasing, and School Board Member Election.
For the third year in a row, the Owego Apalachin Central School District taxpayers will see a 0% increase on the tax levy. The adopted budget maintains all programs and opportunities, continuing to provide our students with the best educational experience possible while, at the same time, being fiscally responsible to taxpayers.
The 2023-2024 Budget Newsletter should arrive in the mail within the next few days.

The Annual School Budget Vote and Board Member Election will take place on Tuesday, May 16th, from Noon to 8:00 pm at two (2) locations, based on residency:

Owego Apalachin Middle School, 3 Sheldon Guile Blvd. Owego, NY 13827

Miss Sonya and her friend Max visited Owego Elementary School today. Max is a Critical Incident therapy dog in the Owego Police Department's Community Policing program that assists children and adults through traumatic incidents. Sonya Bement is a paramedic in Owego and wrote a children's book about Max's journey as a rescue dog, his trauma, and how he has learned to help others by simply loving people. #OACommunity #OAPride #OATradition
