OA School Community,
The Governor of New York has proposed restricting smartphone use in schools statewide to promote a distraction-free learning environment. This move aims to improve student focus and create a better atmosphere for learning. As we explore this potential policy change, it's important to understand the various perspectives and concerns of our community. We want to hear from you: what are your thoughts on how this might impact students, teachers, and families? Your feedback will help guide decisions and ensure that any changes are beneficial for all involved.
Come back often until February 13th to rate new ideas.
Quick Tips:
This Exchange is confidential. Your thoughts will be shared with other participants, but not your identity.
You can share as much as you'd like, but please add separate thoughts so it's easier for others to rate.
Please remain polite and respectful - thoughts that are rude, hurtful, or identifying will be removed from the Exchange.
You will see and rate thoughts that others have shared: 5 stars = strongly agree, 3 = neutral, 1 star = strongly disagree.
You do not need to rate all thoughts, though it's recommended to rate at least 20.
