Owego Free Academy Senior Madison McEvoy scored a game-high 24 points, including the 1,000th of her career, on Monday, January 13, 2025, to lead OFA to a 66-36 win over Groton. McEvoy's milestone point came late in the third quarter on a 3-pointer, assisted by her younger sister Jenna, a freshman guard on the team.
Madison becomes just the 7th girl's basketball player to score 1,000 points during their varsity career at OFA.
