OFA Class of 1983 - 40th Reunion - Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023 at 7 - 10 PM

Gathering at the Parkview Inn on Front St. Owego.  Cash bar with light snacks.

$10.00 per person in advance with payment through Venmo @ OFAclass1983 or $20.00 at the door.

Alumni Making News

Hats off to our 2008 band alumni, Evan Williams and Nick Stevens who both recently presented at Eighth International Conference on Music and Minimalism!  Evan received his DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) in composition from Peabody Conservatory this May.  Along the way, he received degrees from Finger Lakes Community College, Franklin Pierce University, and Carnegie Mellon University. Nick has his Doctorate in Musicology from Case Western and a Bachelors from the University of Rochester.  He was a teaching fellow at Case Western and is now employed by Naxos of America, records division, currently the largest classical record label in the world.

Joshua Raftis, OFA Class of 2012, is an attorney at Mayer Brown LLP in Washington, DC, and is a part of the CO2 of Inequality working group for the "Economy of Francesco" international conference.

Class of 1961 Donates $1,000 to Family Reading Partnership
The Class of '61 collected funds at its 50th (plus one, because last year's flood postponed their get-together) class reunion recently, and on October 3, presented a check to Joan Hunt and Linda Frisbie, who represented the organization that promotes reading from birth.
